Improvement for NCE product add-on purchases
In this release, we have added the capability to dynamically validate whether a prerequisite base product exists for the tenant when a standalone NCE add-on is added to the cart for purchase (Checkout V2). Previously, this validation was done only at the point of completion of purchase during the checkout flow. With this change, customers and agents are notified upfront with a message if they do not meet the prerequisite for purchasing add-ons. This eliminates any potential ambiguity that can arise during the purchase of add-on products.
This improvement is only available for Microsoft reseller-enabled marketplaces. Also, the validation is currently only supported for Checkout V2 flows because of the manner in which purchases are orchestrated in Checkout V1 and Opportunity flows.

This feature is not enabled by default (will be available in a future release). Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.
